It once was quite complicated to transfer your content from your word processor to pdf format, the leading format for ebooks. But that’s no longer an issue. I have not looked at Microsoft Word in a while. The word processor I use, OpenOffice, has a simple button to click and presto-chango your document is transformed into pdf. My guess is there’s a similar feature on Word.

It is possible to sell an unadorned pdf document. But if you are serious about writing and publishing you will want a nice cover and some graphics. If you know how to use the standard graphics programs you can do this (after consulting many how-to videos available at places like youtube.com).

Or you can go to places like PressMart for a complete package. Their website looks very clean, their prices seem reasonable and they offer a free trial for newbies and skeptics. I am not an Affiliate of theirs, so I get nothing for this recommendation. My guess is that since I use AdSense advertising on this website there will be advertisments from competitors when you read this page. Use your judgment to decide the best choice for your brainstorm.
